On April 14, 2017 Director of the Makhachkala Branch Apandi Nurmagomedov took part in a working meeting in Makhachkala focused on ensuring navigation safety in the seaport of Makhachkala. The meeting was chaired by the head of FSBI “Administration of the Seaports of Caspian Sea” Magomed Abdulatipov and was also attended by representatives of JSC “Makhachkala Merchant Seaport”.

The participants in the meeting discussed a wide range of issues regarding dredging operations in the water area of the seaport in 2017, the necessity to make amendments to executive documents and nautical charts in order to precise the boundaries of the water area and the territory of the seaport of Makhachkala and to make amendments to the Compulsory Regulations in the seaport of Makhachkala pursuant to the new particulars of underground hydraulic constructions (canals) in the seaport.

Following the meeting results, the participants took a decision to found an inter-departmental working group for prompt cooperation aimed at preparing the agreed proposals and coordinating actions in resolving the current working issues.
