On January 17, 2017 in the Makhachkala Branch a working meeting was held on discussion of the draft concept of development of the seaport of Makhachkala, which was attended by Director of the Makhachkala Branch Apandi Nurmagomedov and Head of Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments of the Republic of Dagestan Bashir Magomedov.

A wide range of issues relating to prospective projects of construction of harbor for cruise ships, yachts and boats in the seaport of Makhachkala, as well as construction of port infrastructure facilities in the city of Derbent district, was discussed at the meeting.

At the meeting, Apandi Nurmagomedov reported that a work statement for the development of a declaration of intents of investment in the construction of the relevant port facilities has been prepared by the Makhachkala Branch.

Bashir Magomedov, in turn, noted the special importance of the project for improvement of the economic situation and investment activity in the region. Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments of the Republic of Dagestan will provide strong support to its promotion.
