Relief surveying vessel joins the fleet of the Astrakhan Branch

In accordance with the FSUE “Rosmorport” order dated 30.06.2023 No. 257, the FSUE “Rosmorport” Astrakhan Branch received the surveying vessel Relief of the RDB 66.62 project, which earlier, in accordance with the order of Rosmorrechflot dated 21.06.2023 No. BT-223-r was withdrawn from the operational management of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Administration of the Volga Basin of Inland Waterways” and assigned to the enterprise on the right of economic management.

The surveying vessel Relief became the 44th vessel in the entire fleet of the Astrakhan Branch and the 9th navigation vessel.

The vessel is a closed welded single-hull boat made of carbon shipbuilding steel with a continuous upper deck, a superstructure to accommodate the crew and special personnel, as well as an aft engine room equipped with a 295 kW main engine and a single screw with a pitch of 1.12 m.

A special mount for measuring equipment has been manufactured and installed for the Relief boat, which makes it possible to carry out high-speed transitions between sections of measuring work with the exception of the need for additional calibration of equipment.

The vessel is equipped with a hydrographic complex based on multipath and single-beam echo sounders, which allow bottom measurements with a coverage angle of up to 220 degrees and a survey band width up to 10 times the depth.

The Astrakhan Branch uses the vessel to carry out surveying work in the waters of the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya.
