Astrakhan Branch Fleet Replenishment

In March, 2016 the Astrakhan Branch fleet was replenished with Tsiklon crew boat of KS-TRIM 650P project.

This vessel was built by “Kostroma ship and mechanical plant” JSC for the needs of the Sakhalin Branch, under the results of the open electronic request for quotation.

The crew boat, designed by the ship and mechanical plant construction bureau, has a welded aluminum body with trimaran body lines. The vessel is equipped with a water jet, allowing to operate the vessel in shallow water, in the polluted waterway and also in other inaccessible places, where there are no equipped berthing facilities. The crew boat advantage is its maneuverability and high speed characteristics.

Currently, the Astrakhan Branch actively uses the Tsiklon crew boat for delivery of shift personnel to the areas of navigation and hydrographic support services of the branch, located at 52 km, 117 km and 145 km of the Volga-Caspian Marine Shipping Canal, crew members on board of the Astrakhan Branch vessels staying at the roadsteads, as well as for other general service purposes in the water areas of the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya.
