Amendments made to the Mandatory Regulations in the seaport of Sabetta

By the Order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia No. 186 dated May 18, 2022 the Mandatory Regulations in the Sabetta seaport were amended.

The adjustments are related to the clarification of the place of reception and disembarkation of pilots in the waters of the seaport of Sabetta on site No. 1 for pilotage of vessels in the area of mandatory pilotage.

In addition, the Order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia in the seaport of Sabetta established the places of moorage and (or) maintenance of vessels and other watercraft with nuclear power plants and radiation sources, subject to protection by the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.

Also, the information in the Mandatory Regulations in the seaport of Sabetta regarding the maximum sizes of vessels that can enter the seaport in fresh water, in length and draft, was updated. The data obtained as a result of the surveys of the site No. 1 of the water area of the seaport of Sabetta allowed to increase the maximum length of vessels that can safely enter the seaport of Sabetta to 345.3 m and the draft to 12.44 m.
