The Arkhangelsk branch of FSUE "Rosmorport", within the framework of compensatory measures to compensate for the damage caused to aquatic biological resources and their habitat during dredging operations in the Onega Bay of the White Sea in 2019, in the presence of representatives of state control and supervisory authorities, on October 28, 2021, released juvenile Atlantic salmon in the Onega river.

Two-year-old salmon with an average weight of more than 12 g in the amount of almost 1.4 thousand pieces were grown at the request of the branch by a specialized fishing enterprise.

This year this issue, planned by the program of compensation measures of the branch, will be the only one.

The expenses of the Arkhangelsk Branch for the cultivation and release of juvenile salmon in 2021 amounted to 565 thousand rubles.
