Head of Rosmorrechflot Alexander Poshivay, who was on a working trip to the North-Western Federal District, held a working meeting on topical issues of ensuring the safety of navigation in the seaport of Arkhangelsk.

The meeting was attended by the Director of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Arkhangelsk Branch Kirill Gaida, the captain of the seaport of Arkhangelsk Nikolai Nesterov, as well as representatives of the FSBI "AMP of the Western Arctic".

During the meeting, the participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the preparation of the icebreakers of the Arkhangelsk Branch for the winter navigation of 2020-2021, their sufficiency for icebreaking assistance in the White Sea, got acquainted with the results of the implementation of the program of modernization of the equipment of engineering and technical means of support by the Arkhangelsk Branch of FSUE "Rosmorport" transport security of the seaport and plans for the next survey of the Arkhangelsk VTS.

The parties exchanged views, noting the high level of interaction between the structural subdivisions of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Arkhangelsk Branch and the service of the captain of the seaport of Arkhangelsk in solving complex issues of safety of navigation in the seaport of Arkhangelsk.
