Arkhangelsk Branch takes part in Arctic Projects – Today and Tomorrow forum

Director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch Kirill Gaida took part in the VII international forum “Arctic Projects – Today and Tomorrow” held in Arkhangelsk on October 17-19, 2019.

The forum focused on the development strategy of Russia’s Arctic zone, particularly the development of the port and railway infrastructures in the region, the creation of industrial and logistics centers in the Arctic that will facilitate the implementation of investment projects, the increase in transport and transit cargo flows.

The forum involved representatives of Russia’s Transport Ministry, Rosmorrechflot, the All-Russian public organization “The Russian Geographical Society”, major Russian energy and operating companies.

During the forum, a working meeting under the chairmanship of acting captain of the seaport of Arkhangelsk Viktor Yermolin was held and it included representatives of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch, the FSBI Branch “The Administration of Seaports of Western Arctic” in the seaport of Arkhangelsk, stevedoring companies and operators of sea terminals.

The participants in the meeting discussed the development of the port infrastructure of the seaport of Arkhangelsk and visited the facilities of the Arkhangelsk Branch in the seaport.
