Arkhangelsk Branch performs a unique operation

From January 29 to 31, 2013 the FSUE "Rosmorport" Arkhangelsk Branch performed for the first time unique icebreaking support in ice conditions of the White Sea to the diesel-electrical submarine Sindhurakshak of the Indian Navy  after its modernization at a shipyard in Severodvinsk.

The support was provided by the Dikson and Kapitan Krutov icebreakers through the ice of the White Sea up to the exit to plain water. Then the military vessel headed on its own towards its permanent base.

From the start of the winter navigation 2012-2013 the icebreakers of the Arkhangelsk Branch provided assistance for 68 vessels to call at Arkhangelsk Seaport and 66 vessels to leave the seaport, for 3 vessels to call at Onega Seaport and 3 vessels to leave the seaport.
