The FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk branch has started flood prevention arrangements on the Northern Dvina River parts in the Arkhangelsk region. To prevent ice blockages and residential areas inundation the Arkhangelsk branch ice breakers Kapitan Chadaev and Kapitan Yevdokimov work on Maimaxansky, Kuznechecsky, Korabelny, Murmansk and Nickolsk horns. A total estimated length of river parts to release from the ice reaches 600 km.
