On September, 18th, 2010 the meeting on cooperation in the Northern Sea Route region and Northern Sea Corridor EU project was held in Arkhangelsk.

Commercial affairs consul of Norway K. Mugaas, counselor of the Norwegian Barents Secretariat H. Sørensen, deputy director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk branch G.F. Bogdanov, representatives of Arkhangelsk region and Nenetsk Autonomous Area authorities, customs and border services, transport companies and port administrations of the region took part in the meeting.

During the meeting the results of the regional logistic partnership and test voyages on the Northern Sea Route were discussed, as well as the possibilities of the further development of the Extreme North traffic centers in Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Naryan-Mar and Kirkenes (Norway) within the limits of the Northern Sea Corridor EU project.
