According to item 5.4.5 of Statute for Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport, approved by the Governmental order of the Russian Federation from July, 23rd, 2004 № 371, and Order of Conducting of the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation, approved by the order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation from April, 1st, 2009 № 51, by the orders of Federal Agency for Marine and River Transport of the Russian Federation from April, 28th, 2010 № AD-99-r and № AD-100-r the seaports of Varandey and Onega were listed in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation, and obtained serial registration numbers A-4 and A-6 respectively.
