Close of navigation in Anadyr Seaport
Under Order No 6 issued by the captain of the seaport of Anadyr on November 20, 2017 navigation in the seaport of Anadyr, one of the largest seaports in the Chukotka Autonomous Area, has been closed since 00:00 November 21, 2017.
Navigation lasted for 159 days. During this period, a total of 140 calls at the port have been performed, seventy vessels have been handled and over 157.000 tons of cargoes have been transshipped, including:
- 27.500 tons of containers,
- 23.200 tons of general cargoes,
- 72.900 tons of coal;
- 33.500 tons of oil products;
- 34.200 passengers transshipped.
The FSUE “Rosmorport” Anadyr Branch provided pilotage services in the seaport of Anadyr. During the 2017 navigation period, pilots of the Anadyr Branch performed 215 pilotages with the total extent of 4.613 nautical miles. A total of 126 pilotage operations have been also carried out.
