Port Infrastructure Facilities

     The FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch possesses a wide range of coastal port infrastructure facilities, necessary for conducting the major activities of the branch stipulated in Statute on the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch.
     As of 01.01.2024 the 140 stationary objects of the branch property of different functional purposes are the following:

  • hydraulic engineering structures (approaching canal, turning circles and operational water areas)  – 9 objects, comprising:
– Kholmsk seaport – 4 objects;
– Shakhtersk seaport – 5 objects,
  • hydraulic engineering structures (berths, piers, malls, wavebreakers, coastal structures, etc.) – 78 objects, comprising:
– Korsakov seaport – 23 objects;
– Kholmsk seaport – 9 objects;
– Shakhtersk seaport – 39 objects,
  • special buildings and constructions (navigation equipment, cable networks, lines, communication complexes) – 34 objects, comprising:
– Korsakov seaport – 14 objects;
– Kholmsk seaport – 10 objects,
– Shakhtersk seaport – 6 objects,
  • buildings and premises (administrative, manufacturing, utility, welfare, etc.) – 19 objects, comprising:
– Korsakov seaport – 4 objects;
– Kholmsk seaport – 14 objects;
– Shakhtersk seaport – 1 object.

     The Sakhalin Branch hydraulic engineering structures are mostly represented by berths – 48 objects, or 47.1 %, comprising:

– Koraskov Seaport – 21 objects;
– Kholmsk Seaport – 7 objects;
– Shakhtersk Seaport – 20 objects,
     which accounts for 70 %, 25.9 % and 71 % of the total number of berth constructions in the corresponding seaports.
     The total length of the berth wall of the Sakhalin branch berth structures is more than 6.1 km, comprising:
– Korsakov Seaport – 2.3 km;
– Kholmsk Seaport
– almost 1 km;
– Shakhtersk Seaport – almost 2.2 km,
     which accounts for 68.9 %, 40.5 % and 100 % of the total length of berth walls of all berth structures in the corresponding seaports.
