On behalf of the staff of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the Day of Workers of the Maritime and River Fleet!

Water transport plays an important role in the life of the country. Rivers and seas are deservedly considered as arteries of life, uniting whole cities and continents. Thousands of people work in this industry, and thanks to them valuable goods arrive at places where they are very needed, and the industry does not stop for an hour.

Thanks to the diligent work of river workers and sailors, their professionalism, competence, adherence to traditions and, at the same, time flexibility, the industry was able to withstand the challenges that 2020 brought to us and which still arise to this day.

On this holiday, I wish you energy and strength for new achievements, a strong team and a clear horizon! Smooth sailing ahead!
