The winners of the My Port competition take part in the shift of the Artek international children's center

Five young winners of the My Port competition take part in the 9th shift of 2020, which recently started at the Artek international children's center, as stated at the project's website.

The theme of the shift is children's art. The artek's children will create and exchange experience following the motto "If you are going to be, then be the best!"

For 14 days, the children's center turned into an ART residence: entire art quarters have already appeared in all of the camps of the Artek - Theatrical, Musical, Dancing, Architecture and Design, Cinema and Animatics, Olympic Reserve and others. During the shift, the art quarters will become for Artek residents the venue for creative evenings, master classes, song, music, and instrumental competitions.

Among the key events of the shift - International Youth Day (August 12), 200 years since the arrival of A.S. Pushkin to the shores of Taurida (August 15), World Photography Day (August 19) and Cheburashka's birthday (August 20).

Also, Artek residents will take part in excursions around the children's center, in the festival of team improvisations "Creators", lectures, talks, TED conferences. The educational program of the shift will help to form an interest in creativity among pupils and expand their understanding of the cultural heritage of the peoples of Crimea and Russia.
