Icebreaker support operations started in the seaport of Arkhangelsk November 10, 2019 by order of the captain of the seaport in order to ensure navigation safety. Such icebreakers of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch as the Captain Yevdokimov, the Captain Kosolapov and the Captain Chadaev will provide support for vessels in the water area of the seaport. The Dikson icebreaker is ready to provide support for vessels in the White Sea.

This year the winter navigation in the seaport of Arkhangelsk started 12 days earlier than last year due to the intensive ice formation. Drifting ice and ice clogging are currently observed in the water area of the seaport.

For the first day the icebreakers of the enterprise, the Captain Yevdokimov and the Captain Kosolapov, provided support for three vessels.
