The Tor icebreaker of FSUE “Rosmorport” is performing transition to the seaport of Sabetta. In the nearest future, it is expected to arrive in the Ob Bay, where icebreaking escort of vessels will be carried out within construction of the Russia’s largest plant for liquefied gas production “Yamal SPG”.

The Tor icebreaker tasks will include fulfillment of works of icebreaking escort of vessels in the water area, mooring line processing and further assistance in mooring to cargo vessels. According to the contract, works are planned till the third ten-day period of June 2017.

During the period of 2015-2016 winter navigation in the seaport Sabetta, Tor icebreaker has performed icebreaking escort of 219 vessels, 50 replenishment operations and scabbling of 21 vessels. Besides, pilotage operations have been performed.
