On 7 July 2015 members of departments for ecology of the enterprise headquarters and branches gathered for a meeting at the premises of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch to discuss activities on environmental protection.

The meeting was dedicated to various aspects of preparation and implementation of environmental protection procedures held during works on construction, reconstruction and operation of port infrastructure facilities, along with the current situation and prospects of ecological services provision in the seaports assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport”.

Special attention was paid to topical issues arising while preparation of the documents required for ecological expertise. The specialists have discussed coordination of activities of the enterprise branches departments for ecology, taking into account successful practices of particular branches.

In terms of compensatory measures for aquatic bioresources renewal and ecological monitoring the most efficient approaches in work that are to contribute to costs reduction and, therefore, saving the enterprise finance were reviewed.
