From 23 till 27 September a delegation representing Shanghai Bestway Marine Engineering Design Co., Ltd (China) headed by the company President, Mr. Liu Nan, made an information visit to the Far East upon invitation of FSUE “Rosmorport”, and with the aim to implement the Memorandum of Intentions signed in June 2014.

In the framework of the visit the Chinese guests reviewed the infrastructure facilities of the seaports of Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and made study tours of their water areas.

General Director Andrey Tarasenko met the company President, Mr. Liu Nan, and the members of the Chinese delegation. The parties discussed the whole range of issues connected to the co-operation between FSUE “Rosmorport” and Shanghai Bestway Marine Engineering Design Co., Ltd in the field of seaport infrastructure development in the Russian Far East.

During the meeting representatives of the Chinese company reviewed the presentation materials of the project for the construction of a marine container terminal in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Seaport, the prospects for modernization of the port infrastructure of the Sakhalin seaports, and also the plans for development of sea cruise shipping along the Northern Sea Route. In their turn they showed the videos representing the Shanghai Bestway Marine Engineering Design Co., Ltd key activities and made their suggestions on the construction of the marine container terminal to the Russian colleagues.
