FSUE "Rosmorport" participates in the CIPR IT Сonference

The FSUE “Rosmorport” delegation, headed by Deputy General Director Sergey Simonov, took part in the events of one of the largest Russian IT Сonferences “Digitalization of Industrial Russia” (CIPR).

This year the conference took place in Nizhny Novgorod on May 21-24. The representatives of the largest domestic companies demonstrate their achievements in the field of information technology development at this conference.

The Deputy General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” attended the central event of the CIPR – a plenary session with the participation of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. The key topic of the meeting was ensuring of the technological independence of industrial Russia. The session discussed import substitution tasks outlined by the President of the Russian federation Vladimir Putin, intermediate results of the digital transformation of industry and plans for the future.

Mikhail Mishustin noted the importance of the active participation of Industrial Competence Centers (ICCs) in the replication of domestic software at significant critical information infrastructure facilities (CII), and also instructed to approve deadlines for the transition of CII facilities to Russian solutions and introduce administrative liability for violation of deadlines.

Currently, the “Sea and River Transport” ICC, headed by FSUE “Rosmorport", is implementing a project to introduce domestic software at significant CII facilities – Vessel Traffic Systems (VTS) – in order to ensure the safety of navigation in the waters of seaports.

In December 2023, FSUE “Rosmorport” successfully completed a pilot project to transfer the Sochi VTS to Russian software. By the end of 2024, the enterprise plans to transfer all VTS to domestic software.

In addition, within the framework of the “Sea and River Transport” ICC, a project of an information system for pilotage activities is being implemented, aimed at replacing the foreign Transas Pilot PRO Software and creating a unified information environment that will improve the efficiency of the organization of the pilotage services of the enterprise. The implementation of the pilot version of the system in the seaports of the Big Port of St. Petersburg, Astrakhan and Olya is planned for 2024.

Also during the plenary session, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation set the task of the ICC to introduce domestic Resource Management Systems (RMS) in place of foreign ones (ERP) as soon as possible.

FSUE “Rosmorport” has already started work in this direction. As part of the enterprise's digital transformation action plan for 2024-2026, it is planned to replace the corporate ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics AX with a Russian solution of the RMS class based on 1C software.
