On July 17, 2020 a field conference was held in Pioneersky city on the implementation of the project for the construction of an international sea terminal for receiving cruise, cargo and passenger vessels in the Kaliningrad seaport, chaired by the Rosmorrechflot deputy head Zakhariy Dzhioev.

General Director of FSUE "Rosmorport" Andrey Lavrishchev, as well as the FSUE "Rosmorport" North-Western basin branch management and representatives of contracting and engineering companies attended the field conference.

The participants of the field conference visited the construction site and got acquainted with the progress of construction and installation works, which are currently being carried out under the contract at the expense of the company.

During the conference, production issues of the project implementation in the conditions caused by the spread of coronavirus infection, as well as the work performance deadlines and prospects for concluding a state contract to complete the construction of the terminal were discussed.

The construction of the international sea terminal in the Kaliningrad seaport is being carried out by FSUE "Rosmorport" within the state program of the Russian Federation "Transport system development" and the Comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of the highway infrastructure until 2024 and in the future will help to create additional opportunities for the development of a tourist cluster in the Kaliningrad Region.
