FSUE “Rosmorport” continues to implement My Port project in the Orlyonok Russian children’s center

The summer health promotion campaign started in the Orlyonok Russian children’s center, the permanent partner of FSUE “Rosmorport”, on July 1, 2020. For five years within the My Port project the enterprise has been taking actions in respect of early vocational guidance jointly with the children’s center.

Under the risk of coronavirus infection spreading and in compliance with the Rospotrednadzor recommendations, the Orlyonok Russian children’s center organizes the seven thematic shift by children centers authorial programs exclusively for children residing in Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygeya.

This year the Stormovoy children’s center has opened its doors for the country’s talented children, including 40 winners of the all-Russian contest “My Port”. Under the reduced program in maritime affairs from July 1 to July 14, 2020 boys and girls will learn the basics of maritime professions, master knotcraft and study flag wagging. The children will acquire skills in the field of maritime affairs and theoretical knowledge about the history of the maritime fleet in Russia. Within the celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War the children will be told about the cities and seaports of Novorossiysk, Anapa, Sevastopol and Kerch, in the 1940’s. During the shift, the children will learn about the port infrastructure, navigation systems, as well as vessels that put calls in the water area of the Black Sea.

The program also envisions the solemn events devoted to the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Orlyonok Russian children’s center, one of the best children’s centers of the country. The FSUE “Rosmorport” Khersones sailing ship will arrive at the center to congratulate it with the jubilee. Children will be able to look at the frigate at close range and takes photos in front of it.
