Welcome Day was held at the Ruza social rehabilitation center for minors “Astarta” supported by FSUE “Rosmorport” on August 13, 2019.

The director of the center, Natalya Kanshina, organized a highlight tour for the guests during which the children and grown-ups attended demonstration master classes, took part in seven interactive platforms and received primary consultation of experienced specialists, such as speech therapeutists, psychologists, teachers. A complex of special exercises aimed at developing the brain functions attracted parents’ special attention.

At present, nineteen families undergo hospital treatment in the center and another 115 families of the Ruza district regularly receive social services. According to Natalya Kanshina, the center receives permanent support from state institutions, including FSUE “Rosmorport”.

With financial support from the enterprise computers, furniture and home appliances have been acquired to create comfortable living conditions, sports acrivities and ensure creative development. With funds donated by the enterprise the institution’s territory has been improved: coniferous trees and bushes have been planted.

FSUE “Rosmorport” traditionally provides targeted aid to children’s homes and care homes, and takes part in charitable projects.
