FSUE “Rosmorport” sums up results of its activities over July 2019
Throughout the reporting period the enterprise notes the positive dynamics of key performance indexes. In July 2019 FSUE “Rosmorport” earnings increased by 11% as compared with the same period of 2018 and amounted to 2.371 billion rubles, including 268.8 million rubles from granting a lease of property and 232.7 million rubles of other types of activities.
The total amount of vessel calls at Russian seaports reached 35.432.
The number of pilotage made by the enterprise’s services in July exceeded 19.000.
Over the last month specialists of the vessel tracking management system of FSUE “Rosmorport” carried out 111.5 thousand vessel escort operations. This is 3.5 % more than in the similar period of 2018.
In July FSUE “Rosmorport” handed over 82 pieces of aids to navigation to FSUE “The Hydrographic Enterprise” of Rosatom State Corporation due to granting powers to an operator of the Northern Sea Route and in order to ensure navigation safety on the seaway canal, an approach channel and in the water area of the seaport of Sabetta.
In order to carry out dredging operations in the seaport of Sabetta dredgers of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch arrived at the end of the month. The trailing suction hopper dredgers, the Severnaya Dvina and the Beloye More, started to carry out repair dredging operations on the approach channel, the seaway canal and the water area of the seaport of Sabetta.
Dredging operations continue at the Volga-Caspian Shipping Canal, the Taganrog approach canal and in water areas of the seaports where the Azovo-Chernomorsky Branch and the North-Western Basin Branch carry out their activities.
In July 2019 a new self-propelled hopper, the Rabochaya, built by the Onezhsky Shipbuilding and Ship-Repairing Plant, JSC, expanded the fleet of the enterprise. The North-Western Basin Branch is planning to use the vessel in the seaport of Ust Luga in order to carry out dredging operations.
FSUE “Rosmorport” takes an active part in training qualified personnel for the industry by providing its sailing ships to undergo training. At present, a total of 120 cadets of Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University undergo training on the Nadezhda sailing ship. A total of 132 cadets of Admiral Makarov State University for Maritime and Inland Shipping undergo training aboard the Mir sailing ship. Eighty young sailors of the college of Sedov Water Transport Institute (the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Military Education “Admiral Ushakov State Maritime Institute”) undergo training on the Khersones sailing ship. On Russia’s Navy Day the FSUE “Rosmorport” frigates traditionally opened naval parades in Sevastopol and Vladivostok.
