The Transport Logistic 2019 forum was held in Munich (Germany) on June 4-7, 2019. The Kaliningrad Directorate of the North-Western Basin Branch represented FSUE “Rosmorport” at the forum. Representatives of the port’s stevedoring company also took part in the work of the seaport’s united stand.

The participants in the forum studied the performance potential, plans for developing and modernizing the infrastructure of the seaport of Kaliningrad, as well as the public control system in the port and FSUE “Rosmorport” functions and tasks. Special attention was paid to the activities carried out by the Directorate of the North-Western Basin Branch as an operator of the railway motor ferry complex in Baltiysk: the basic operation of the complex had been demonstrated to attract ferry operators, cargo owners and expeditors for the joint work. During the event, representatives of cruise and ferry sea lines were informed about the construction and the potential of a new international sea terminal to receive cruise and cargo passenger vessels in Pionersky, Kaliningrad Region.

The activity of FSUE “Rosmorport” was of much interest to the audience. Over 400 participants and visitors of the exhibition studied the stand materials of the seaport of Kaliningrad. As part of the forum meetings with representatives of ferry and container carriers, management port companies were held.

Transport Logistic is the major international forum that has included over 2.000 exhibits from 63 countries this year. Many countries took part in the forum: about 65,000 visitors arrived from Russia, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, Great Britain, Poland, Spain and China. The priority of the forum is to generalize practical experience in the field of passenger transport, customs service, logistics and information technology.
