A meeting was held in Moscow on June 8, 2018 to discuss problems for signing and executing agreements aimed at improving the environmental situation in the Primorye Territoiry.

The meeting was chaired by Russian Deputy Transport Minister, Rosmorrechflot Head Viktor Olersky and Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and the Environment, Rosprirodnadzor Head Artyom Sidorov. It involved Rosmorrechflot deputy head Nadezhda Zhikhareva, FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrei Lavrishchev, representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, Rosmorrechflot and Rosprirodnadzor, as well as representatives of stevedoring companies dealing with coal transshipment in the Far Eastern region.

During the meeting, Victor Olersky, Artyom Sidorov, Andrey Lavrishchev and representatives of 11 stevedoring companies of the Primorye Territory signed agreements on cooperation to carry out the events aimed at creating favorable environmental conditions for the life and health of the population of the Primorye Territory and minimize the negative impact on the environment while transshipping coal.
