Head of the Republic of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area Governor Dmitry Kobylkin, JSC Severrechflot General Director Sergey Sheptun, Executive Director of Marine Technics Group of Companies (LLL “MT-Group”) Alexander Yevseyev, First Deputy General Director of the State Transport Leasing Company (GTLK) and other officials visited the Onezhsky Shipbuilding and Ship-Repairing Plant on April 9, 2018.

During the visit, the honorable guests inspected production capacities and studied the current work aimed at building vessels for the needs of FSUE “Rosmorport”. At present, the Onezhsky Shipbuilding and Ship-Repairing Plant is building the Yuri Maslyukov TSHD 2000 dredging vessel that will carry out dredging operations in the seaport of Sabetta.

The participants in the meeting discussed prospects for cooperation in the sphere of shipbuilding and constructing passenger vessels of Voyage 85MT Project that have been designed by LLC “MT-Group”.

Special attention was paid to the construction of vessels working on liquefied natural gas (passenger vessels, LNG bunkers, floating bunkering barges to use them on rivers of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.
