FSUE “Rosmorport” takes part in the 35th International Week of Transport and Logistics “SITL”

The International Week of Transport and Logistics SITL 2018 started in Paris on March 20, 2018. The event will last for four days. FSUE “Rosmorport” and other transport organizations have been represented at the stand of Russia’s Transport Ministry.

The agenda of the exhibition includes talks on international cooperation with European representatives. Russia’s priority is to improve business-like contacts with partners from France and other countries.

During the stay of the Russian delegation led by the Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov, experts will have an opportunity to exchange experience with foreign colleagues.

The minister welcomed the participants in the exhibition and wished them to work successfully, make effective business-like contracts and implement new creative ideas.

On March 21, as part of the business program of the exhibition, chief of the FSUE “Rosmorport” department for investment management and the strategic development Andrey Boldorev delivered a presentation on the topic “The Current State and Plans for the Development of the Port Infrastructure of the Russian Federation”.

In his report Andrey Boldorev concentrated on major projects implemented by FSUE “Rosmorport”. Among them is the creation of a new seaport of Sabetta, the construction of a modern multifunctional seaport of Ust Luga, as well as automobile and railway ferry complexes for service of ferry lines connecting the Russian seaports of Ust Luga, Kaliningrad (Baltiysk) and the German port of Sassnitz. Special attention was paid to current projects to develop port infrastructure and information on the enterprise’s icebreaker fleet.

The International Week of Transport and Logistics SITL is one of the major transport forums of France and European countries. Visitors of the exhibition will be able to study advanced technology of cargo shipping on all types of transport and the newest achievements in the sphere of creating logistics, automation and mechanization systems of warehousing and loading-unloading operations, transport service.
