Over 8,000 employees of the FSUE “Rosmorport” central office and its branches carrying out their activities in 24 Russian regions took part in the Russian presidential elections on March 18, 2018.

The enterprise allowed for crew members being at sea to take part in the elections. To this end polling stations had been organized aboard the icebreakers – the Krasin, the Magadan, the Kapitan Khlebnikov, the Kapitan Dranitsyn, the Admiral Makarov, the Moskva, the Vladivostok, the Dikson and the Kapitan Kosolapov. Early polling had been also held. Ballot results reports were given to territorial election commissions where votes of all sailors, who had discharged their civic duty, had been counted.

On March, 18 crew members of FSUE “Rosmorport” vessels operating in water areas of seaports and in the roads were taken ashore by the branches’ service cruise fleet. Then they were taken on to polling stations by automobile transport.
