FSUE "Rosmorport" obtains the State Environmental Appraisal Board’s positive findings on project documentation for carrying out dredging operations in the seaports of Taman and Kavkaz

On February 12, 2018 FSUE "Rosmorport" obtains the State Environmental Appraisal Board’s positive findings on project documentation for carrying out dredging operations in the seaports of Taman and Kavkaz.

The State Environmental Appraisal Board acknowledged that the project documentation conforms to the environmental requirements set by technical regulations and legislation on the environmental protection.

Project documentation “The Work Execution Plan to Carry out Repair Dredging Operations in the Seaport of Kavkaz for the Period of 2017-2027” envisions repair dredging operations in the amount of 196,150 cubic meters of ground per year to maintain project depths, remove shifting soil violating the normal operation of hydraulic structures in the sections with a total area of 345.945 square meters in the water area of the seaport of Kavkav and in the water area of the Azov Black Sea Seaway Canal.

Project documentation “The Work Execution Plan to Carry out Repair Dredging Operations in the Seaport of Kavkaz for the Period of 2017-2027” envisions repair dredging operations in the amount of 114,000 cubic meters per year on the sections with a total area of 1,079,572.89 square meters on the approach channel of the Taman oil terminal and the Taman liquefied hydrogen gas base, as well as in the open water area of Berth No 5 and Berth No 6 of the seaport of Taman.
