Rosmorrechflot’s Collegium and the Public Council gathered for a meeting in Moscow on December 22, 2017. The meeting was chaired by Russian Deputy Transport Minister, head of Rosmorrechflot Viktor Olersky.

The meeting involved State Duma deputy Artur Chilingarov, director of Russia’s Transport Ministry Department for the State Policy in Maritime and Inland Shipping Vitaly Klyuyev, chairman of the CIS Coordination Transport Conference Executive Committee Aleksandr Davydenko, FSUE “Rosmorport” General Director Andrei Lavrishchev, chairman of the All-Russian Movement for the Support of the Fleet Mikhail Nenashev, Rosmorrechflot employees, representatives of Rosmorrechflot subordinate organizations, business structures, public organizations and maritime and inland shipping associations.

The preliminary results of navigation in Russian inland waterways were the key point of the discussions.

Special attention was paid to creating the methodological support system for training high qualification personnel in marine and river spheres. The participants in the meeting noted the importance of organizing career guidance and improving the extended education system of children in the field of waterborne transport.

The meeting also focused on making changes to organizational and legal forms of Rosmorrechflot subordinate organizations.

The participants in the meeting determined a plan of action of Rosmorrechflot’s Collegium in 2018.

By tradition, the awarding ceremony has been held. Under the resolution of Russia’s Transport Deputy Minister, head of Rosmorrechflot Viktor Olersky, members of FSUE “Rosmorport” have been awarded with a letter of commendation for organizing and holding the 17^th session of the Maritime Group of the Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission in 2017.
