In accordance with the Rosprirodnadzor Order No.832 of 06.09.2017 the license No.77.99.15.002.L.000004.01.14 of 22.01.2014 for the performance of the activity in the field of the use of the sources of ionizing radiation (generating) (unless these sources are used in the medicine activity), which was earlier issued by FSUE “Rosmorport”, was reissued.

The license was reissued because geographical scope of performance of such activities by the organization had expanded. The seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy is now among the seaports where FSUE “Rosmorport” has already set X-ray equipment for the examination of luggage and goods, along with the seaports of Sochi, Novorossiysk, Murmansk and Vyborg.

To provide transport safety on the transport infrastructure object it is planned to examine passengers' luggage and hand-carried baggage with the help of the set X-ray equipment in the building of the recently built harbor station in the seaport.
