FSUE “Rosmorport” Executive Director Visits Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch

On August 22-24, 2017 FSUE “Rosmorport” Executive Director Andrey Lavrishchev made a working trip to the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch.

While attending the Yeisk Directorate of the Branch the Executive Director met with the Branch’s management and the employees to discuss the implementation of the program of activities in the first six months of the year 2017.

During his visit to the seaport of Yeisk Andrey Lavrishchev inspected the progress of work to prepare the Kapitan Krutov diesel power icebreaker for the 2017-2018 navigation.

Last week the Kapitan Krutov made 41 ice operations and piloted 311 vessels. The vessel has 2,000 work hours.

During the winter navigation, the Yeisk Directorate of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch renders icebreaker services in the seaport of the city and on the approaches toward it. The duration of the ice period in the region makes up 80-90 days. In January-February fixed ice is observed (at least for 30 days per year). The vessel’s characteristics allow it to carry out the operations in ice conditions in the Sea of Azov and the Gulf of Taganrog.

During the visit, Andrey Lavrishchev also met with the management of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch. In Novorossiysk he held a conference on economic components, the technical state of the enterprise’s prime means and property’s assessment.
