Completion of Dredging in the Seaport of Sabetta

Dredging works planned for 2016 in the seaport of Sabetta and on the Gulf of Ob, have been fully completed.
The volume of dredging in the current year amounted to 17.5 mln m3.
The works were performed with the use of 20 units of equipment, including Severnaya Dvina hopper dredger recently transferred to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Arkhangelsk Branch management.
According to the results of works, there were formed a water area of auxiliary and cargo berths, approach channel 315 meters wide and with bottom mark minus 15.1 meters, sea canal 205 meters wide and with bottom mark minus 15.1 meters.
Implementation of the project allowed ensuring entrance of tankers with draft up to 12 m, intended for transportation of LNG and GK.
