The Vostochny Branch of FSUE “Rosmorport” was created in November, 2003 by the order of FSUE “Rosmorport” № 31/OD dated 3.11.2003, approving the Statute for the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch.
In November, 2003 the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch received the notice on putting on account in Interdistrict Inspection of the Ministry of Taxes and Levies of the Russian Federation for Nakhodka.
In December, 2003 Melnichuk Victor Stepanovich was appointed director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch by the FSUE “Rosmorport” order dated 01.12.2003 № 87/k.
According to the orders of Ministry of Property Relations of the Russian Federation dated 09.03.2004 № 1125-r and 05.05.2004 № 1596 the federal property withdrawn from Sea Administration of the Port of Vostochny and from Sea Administration of the Port of Nakhodka was fixed on the right of economic authority after FSUE “Rosmorport”. Above mentioned property was transferred to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch by the FSUE “Rosmorport” order dated 31.05.2004 № 84a/OD.
According to the order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated 31.05.2004 № VR-14-r “About the Interim Measures for Ensuring of Maintenance and Development of Port Infrastructure Facilities and Execution of Administrative Powers in the Seaports of Nakhodka and Vostochny” starting from the 1st of June, 2004 the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch began collecting port dues and other business activities in the seaports of Vostochny and Nakhodka.
In August, 2004 Kiselyov Alexander Anatolevich was appointed director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch by the FSUE “Rosmorport” order dated 23.07.2004 № 250/k. He is holding his position at present.
In August, 2005 by the FSUE “Rosmorport” order dated 17.08.2005 № 350/OD correction changes concerning branch location in the Statute for the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch were made.
In July, 2007 to match the branch Statute with the labor law of the Russian Federation concerning labor safety of the branch workers by the FSUE “Rosmorport” order dated 3.07.2008 № 273 proper changes to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch Statute were made.
In December, 2008 according to the order of Ministry of Property Relations of the Russian Federation dated 24.12.2008 № 996-r the property of OAO “Nefteport” was transferred to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch.
In February, 2009 due to the integration of sea and fishing ports administrations in Sea Administration of the Port of Nakhodka the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch increased the volume of services provided by pilotage department of the branch.
In March, 2010 by the order of FSUE “Rosmorport” dated 03.03.2010 № 136 changes to Vostochny branch Statute were introduced according to which the FSUE "Rosmorport" Vostochny Branch was given the right at executing ship owner's functions to render services using all the types of the branch's vessels.
In January 2012 the Vostochny Branch stopped providing IT services to other organizations.
In July 2012 by FSUE “Rosmorport” order dated 27.07.2012 № 471 the Statute on the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch was approved as amended.
Today the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch is one of the largest transport enterprises of the Far East. The branch carries out its activities in the seaports of Vostochny and Nakhodka, rendering wide spectrum of services, including comprehensive services on safe navigation in the water areas of ports and on harbor approaches. Staff of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch amounts to 300 persons.
Representatives of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch are members of various federal and regional councils and consulting authorities. In particular, according to the decision of 22nd Conference of the Association of Sea Trading Ports of Russia dated 25.03.2009 director of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch A.A. Kiselyov was newly elected to the committee of directors of the Association.
