One of the major types of activities of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Vostochny Branch is enabling development of port infrastructure and fleet in the seaports of Vostochny and Nakhodka according to federal special-purpose programs of coastal and port infrastructure development in Primorye Territory.
From 2006 till 2009 the Vostochny Branch acted as representative of a client constructor in the framework of state contract № 451/ОДР-ДП dated 11.06.2006 on projecting and constructing a complex of buildings and structures and equipping an inspection complex for supervision of large cargo in the seaport of Vostochny, designed for inspecting sea containers transported by heavy trucks by means of analysis of radioscopic image of high definition. Implementation of this project was stipulated by a federal special-purpose program “State border of the Russian Federation (2003 - 2010)”. The constructioin was finished in 2009. At present the final stage of putting the object into operation is in progress. After that the object will be secured to FSE “Rosgranstroy” for operational management. When the inspection complex will be put into operation, that will be a solution for the following tasks:
- achievement of up-to-date quality level of container cargo inspection in the seaport of Vostochny without disturbing the package and with maximum authenticity;
- increase of cargo inspection speed due to complete robotization of main procedures and receipt of a documented confirmation.
At present the Vostochny Branch is implementing an investment project on berth reconstruction for mooring of ecological fleet in the seaport of Vostochny. The project will enable safe mooring for all ecological fleet vessels, taking into account the future development of a shipboard wastes disposal base in the seaport of Vostochny and Nakhodka. The project documentation received a positive conclusion of the State Ecological Expertise Department of Urban Development Department of Primorye Territory № 201/09 dated 02.02.2010.
