A delegation of Vietnam’s Fisheries Support and Development Center led by Chairman Vu Khah Nguyen made a working visit to the Far Eastern Basin Branch on December 25, 2017.

During the visit to Vladivostok, the Vietnamese guests met with Director of the Far Eastern Basin Branch Viktor Vanyukov and representatives of G.I. Nevelskoy Maritime State University.

The participants in the meeting discussed a wide range of issues regarding the planned calls of tje Nadezhda sailing ship at the Vietnamese seaports of Hai Phong, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh and the Le Quy Don sailing ship’s participation in the upcoming sailing regatta due to take place in August-September 2018.

An excursion to the Kapitan Khlebnikov icebreaker has been organized for the Vietnamese delegation. During the excursion, the icebreaker’s captain, Vladimir Boldakov, demonstrated the ship’s construction and the pilothouse, the central post and the pilot bridge of the icebreaker.

Following the results of the visit, the participants expressed gratitude to the management of the Far Eastern Basin Branch for the warm reception and expressed readiness for further mutually beneficial cooperation.
