FSUE “Rosmorport” received a positive conclusion issued by FAI “Glavgosexpertiza of Russia” of 09.02.2024 No. 47-1-1-3-005319-2024 on the project for the construction of the Krakolye automated radio engineering post (Krakolye AREP).

The Krakolye AREP is designed to perform VTS functions in the section of the seaport of Ust-Luga water area near the mouth of the Luga River. The project provides for the integration of the Krakolye AREP into the Ust-Luga VTS.

Using the technical means of the Krakolye AREP, it is planned to provide information services to mariners, services for organizing vessel traffic and assistance in navigation at the mouth of the Luga River and the southern part of the Luga Bay.

The commissioning of the Krakolye AREP will eliminate radar shadow zones in one section of the water area of the seaport of Ust-Luga.

The construction of the Krakolye AREP is planned for 2025-2026.
