Boundaries of the cargo and passenger permanent multiway Russian state border sea checkpoint in the seaport of Ust-Luga amended

Under the Ministry of Transport of Russia Order dated 11.05.2023 No. 161, boundaries of the cargo and passenger permanent multiway Russian state border sea checkpoint in the seaport of Ust-Luga have been amended.

The adjustments concern the clarification of the checkpoint borders in the area of the Yug-2 multipurpose transshipment complex in the seaport of Ust-Luga.

The FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch has two berth, designed to receive and handle rolling vessels and container ships, within this area of the Russian state border checkpoint.

At the end of 5 months of 2023 more than 3.3 million tons of cargo was handled at these berths by the operator of the maritime terminal, which is almost 1.9 times more than similar indicators in 2022 for a comparable period of time. The entire volume of processed cargo at these berths of the branch headed for export.
