Pursuant to Commissioning Certificate No 39-RU39301000-035-2017 of April 17, 2019 issued by the Agency for Architecture, Urban Development and Development Strategy of the Kaliningrad Region, a reconstructed base of aids to navigation has been put into operation in the seaport of Kaliningrad. The base is located in the settlement of Rybachiy. Nine capital construction facilities have been also put into operation as part of the complex. They include

- the two-storey administrative industrial complex;
- sewage treatment facilities;
- a filling lorry;
- a pumping station of fire-fighting water supply;
- a building of treated water production;
- an artesian station of 120 meters in depth;
- a metallic buoy store shed;
- a plastic buoy store shed;
- a utility fluids storage container.

Besides that, a berth of 50 meters in length on PK 330 has been reconstructed as part of the project (the rear area of the berth has increased by four meters, two power supply units of vessels and new fenders have been installed). A coating booth has been also reconstructed (a paint-spraying room has been built).

The reconstruction of the base of aids to navigation has been made by FSUE “Rosmorport” under the capital investment program at the expense of the enterprise’s funds. The reconstruction works have been carried out from June 2017 to April 2019.

The implementation of the project will make it possible to improve the storage requirements and maintenance of stationary and floating aids to navigation that are installed in water areas of the Kaliningrad maritime canal in order to ensure navigation safety of vessels calling at the seaport of Kaliningrad.
