Professor of Hamburg University of Technology (Germany) Hanno Schaumburg jointly with Professor of Peter the Great St Petersburg Polytechnic University Igor Ilyin visited the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch on July 26, 2018.

The main goal of the visit was to discuss prospects for cooperation between the North-Western Basin Branch and the Hamburg University of Technology in the sphere of logistics and digitations of business processes in the port activity.

During the meeting, Hanno Schaumburg spoke about the most successful projects in this sphere implemented by the Administration of Hamburg Port jointly with the Hamburg University of Technology.

The participants in the meeting confirmed the need for further cooperation in this field because the North-Western Basin Branch actively cooperates with leading Russian and foreign scientific and educational organizations to use the world’s most advanced innovation solutions in the sphere of digital and information technology in the port activity in practice.
