Amendments made to Compulsory Regulations in Vysotsk Seaport

Under Russia’s Transport Ministry Order No 481 of November 08, 2017, amendments have been made to the Compulsory Regulations in the Seaport of Vysotsk approved by Russia’s Transport Ministry Order No 161 of May 05, 2015.

The corrections are related to specifying the rules for the navigation of vessels moving to/from the coal terminal berths in daylight and darkness hours.

Moreover, the amendments determined the permit for ship-to-ship transshipping bulk dry cargoes (coal) at the anchoring station 18E (Anchoring Berth No 1 and Anchoring Berth No 2) of an accepting vessel at a vessel anchor. Transshipment should be carried out under the Rules for the Provision of Ship-to-Ship Transshipping Services that have been approved by Russia’s Transport Ministry Order No 68 of April 29, 2009.

The Compulsory Regulations also specify information on the minimum number and the minimum power of towboats to carry out mooring operations of vessels at the coal terminal berths in the seaport of Vysotsk and vessels’ approach toward (leaving of vessels) the coal terminal berths.

The amendments to the Compulsory Regulations in the Seaport of Vysotsk will come into effect on December 16, 2017.
