Information on Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg Seaport in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation Changed

Under Rosmorrechflot Resolution No NZh-237-r of September 19, 2017 amendments have been made to data on the seaport of Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation.

The corrections are related to specifying the key technical characteristics of the seaport: the space of the seaport’s water area and the total length of the berth wall in the seaport of Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg following the results of the measurements.

Pursuant to the amendments, the length of vessels that are allowed to call at the seaport of Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg has increased by 29 meters. Possibility of safe calls at the seaport for passenger vessels of up to 340 meters in length has been confirmed by the works to justify the parameters of design vessels admitted for navigation on the approaches toward and in the waters areas of the seaport of Passenger Port Saint-Petersburg performed on the order of FSUE “Rosmorport”. The operation included calculations and modelling of design vessels passage.
