Under Rosmorrechflot Resolution No NZh-249-r of September 29, 2017 data on the seaport of Vysotsk in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation has been changed.

The amendments are related to specifying the key technical characteristics of the seaport, particularly, the total berth space in the seaport of Vysotsk has increased by 107.9 meters. This is related to the extension of the berth wall of the coal terminal following the results of the reconstruction performed earlier. The capacity of cargo terminals has also increased due to the installation of more productive equipment for handling coal and optimizing the loading process.

In addition to this, the maximum dimensions of vessels in the seaport have changed. Pursuant to the amendments made calls of vessels with the length of 260 meters (which is 10 meters more than the previous restrictions), as well as vessels of the greater breadth of up to 45 meters, have been permitted in the seaport of Vysotsk. The increase in dimensions in breadth of vessels that are allowed the calls at the seaport of Vysotsk is conditioned by the dredging operations carried out earlier on the by-pass deep-water canal (the deep-water route from the Vyborg fairway through the Greater Tranzund Roads to the internal Vysotsk roads) by the order of FSUE “Rosmorport”. Upon the results of the operations the breadth of the canal has increased by 50 meters, and at present it is of up to 200 meters. Moreover, the laser-based vessel mooring system has been installed at the oil terminal. It will help moor vessels of up to 260 meters in length to berths of the sea terminal.

In addition to the above-mentioned changes, under the Rosmorrechflot resolution, the names of operators of sea terminals have been specified.
