Passenger Navigation Opens in Vyborg Seaport

The Carelia passenger ship (under the flag of Finland) was the first ship that moored at Passenger Sea Terminal Berth No. 1 of the Vyborg-Vysotsk Directorate of the North-Western Basin Branch in the seaport of Vyborg on May 19, 2017. The vessel arrived from Lappeenranta, Finland.

A total of 70 passengers were aboard the vessel. Upon completion of customs procedures the passengers toured the ancient city and went sightseeing historical Vyborg.

At the same day the Carelia left for Lappeenranta, Finland, located on the shores of Lake Saimaa.

Till September 2017 when the summer navigation ends in the seaport of Vyborg at least 74 vessels are expected to be treated in this passenger terminal of the seaport of Vyborg. Passenger flow will be at least 16,500 people.
