The employees of the Kaliningrad Directorate of the North-Western Basin Branch took part in the 5th Open Sports Festival among the staff of the Seaport of Kaliningrad, hosted on 19- 20 of May.

The objectives of this annual event, which is organized with the institutional support of the Kaliningrad Directorate, are the development of sport, the promotion of healthy lifestyle as well as the strengthening of the corporate spirit among the personnel of the Seaport of Kaliningrad.

As a result of the competitions in six disciplines, which were held in an uncompromising and exciting struggle, the Kaliningrad Directorate team, being one of the five competing teams, had managed to take the first place in:
- rowing race on dinghies for distance of 600 m;
- shooting practice;
- beach Volleyball;
- tug of war,
the second place in bowling and the fourth place in the relay race.
