Visit of Representatives of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland to the Seaport of Kaliningrad

On May 17, 2016 a delegation of the representatives of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland, together with the representatives of the Border Department of the FSS of Russia in the Kaliningrad region made an offcial visit to the seaport of Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad Department of the North-Western Basin Branch.

The main purpose of the visit was to study the navigation control system in the seaport of Kaliningrad and organizational and technical capacities of the Kaliningrad Seaport Transport Security Administration.

The Polish guests and the representatives of the Border Department of the FSS of Russia in the Kaliningrad region visited the building of the Vessel Traffic Management Service of the Kaliningrad Department in the city of Baltiysk, where Head of Communications and Electroradionavigation Service of the Kaliningrad Department Alexander Sinelnikov conducted a tour and spoke about the work of VTS operators of the port of Kaliningrad and the Kaliningrad Departments subdivisions responsible for technical supervision of the water area of the seaport of Kaliningrad and operation of the navigation safety systems and transportation safety systems in the water area and on approaches to the seaport of Kaliningrad, and in the Vistula Gulf.

During the meeting Deputy Director of the North-Western Basin Branch — Head of the Kaliningrad Department Andrey Moshkov organized a presentation about FSUE “Rosmorport” for the guests and spoke about the core activities of the Kaliningrad Department in the seaport of Kaliningrad.
