Passenger Navigation in the Seaport of Vyborg Opened

The first vessel of the year docked at the passenger sea terminal “Pier No.1” of the Vyborg-Vysotsk Department of the North-Western Basin Branch on May 20, 2016. It was the Carelia passenger ship from Finland.

150 passengers from Finland arrived on board the ship. They visited the ancient city and saw the sights of the historical part of Vyborg as tourists.

On the same day the Carelia ship headed for the port of Lappeenranta (Finland), which is located on the shores of lake Saimaa.

It is expected that by September 2016, the end of summer navigation in the seaport of Vyborg, this passenger terminal at the seaport of Vyborg will have serviced around 69 vessels with the total passenger traffic of at least 14 million people.
