Information on the Seaport of Vyborg in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation Amended

By order No. YK-227-r of Rosmorrechflot dated June 29, 2015 the information on the seaport of Vyborg in the Register of seaports of the Russian Federation has been amended.

Amendments are related to the revision of the main technical characteristics of the seaport of Vyborg: number of berths, length of the seaport berthing front, throughput of freight terminals, area of open and covered warehouses. In particular, the number of berths has been decreased due to decommissioning of 6 berths (No. 2-5, 11-12) due to their extreme wear.

Besides, the maximum size of vessels, allowed to call at the seaport of Vyborg has been increased.

Names and addresses of the seaport operators, operating in the seaport of Vyborg, as well as the name of the Vyborg Seaport Administration, functions of which are now performed by the branch of FSBI “The Administration of the Baltic Seaports” in the city of Vyborg, have also been updated in the Register.

For reference:

All berths in seaport of Vyborg are assigned to FSUE “Rosmorport” under right of economic management, and according to the established procedure they have been leased to the sea terminal operators for use for intended purpose: handling of bulk cargo (coal, mineral fertilizers), general cargo (scrap metal, packaged cargoes) and liquid cargo (food, chemicals).
According to the results for 6 months of 2015 in the seaport of Vyborg over 690 thousand tonnes of cargo were handled by the seaport operators, which is 15% less than in the same period in the previous year.
